The Inquirer Daily News looks to be skimping on photos for their stories. Hire me! Hire me!

This is the second time I’ve seen an ad from this whole PA “We’re in this together” traffic safety campaign. The first was driving down the Roosevelt Boulevard, where I almost rear-ended a car slowing down to read the small print on the billboard. This time, I was more careful. But can someone tell me what this means? Don’t eat ice cream cones while you’re driving or you may hit a traffic cone? Wtf?
Heh. I think the problem is that they can’t afford to hire you. :)
Also, it’s the Daily News.
Yeah, I know. But still.
I am surprised, though. I would’ve thought they would make the writer capture a picture.
I have no idea what the ice cream cone means.
The sign on the back of the bus obviously is intended to evoke something beyond a habitual response. Much like the probing question, “What is the sound of one hand clapping?”, this image is designed to help lead us along a particular path to enlightenment.
In fact, dare I say (and I do, dare say, that is) that SEPTA Management, in its boundless wisdom, has taken a Zen turn and provided us with (are you ready for this?), a…KOAN! Get it…Get it? A Koan. KOAN/CONE?!
OMG, I crack myself up sometimes. Oh, come on, admit it, that was funny, although I do apologize for the lengthy set-up; I have lots of time on my hands.
I never would’ve made that link. I love it :)
