I’m curious how someone going by the name curious wasn’t curious enough to do the appropriate research as well and read the follow-up post, entitled, Did you REALLY just say that to me?

This is the third day in which I attempt to contact Thunderbird Bowling Centers. I go to their website, where I have already filled out a complaint and come upon the number of their corporate office.

To pb:
Most bowling centers have open bowling in the morning, then have leagues about noon or so. If phillygrrl had called in the morning, they may have told her their were plenty of lanes. If she then showed up 1/2 to an hour before leagues, they would have denied her. They should have told her what time leagues started. Anyway, not really the point is it. The point is were the “brown kids” denied bowling because they were brown. Possible, but highly doubtful.

Yeah that is funny. Because if anyone knew what day was league day, it wouldn’t be the bowling alley, right?

I agree with you phillygrrl. The customer service is obviously crap if you contacted them twice with no response. I think posting that issue is completely valid. I just took slight issue with the racial overtones that were implied in the post.
As for B.C. comments. Here are my examples;
“Because if you walk into Thunderbird Lanes with a group of brown kids from your church’s youth group on a Sunday and they tell you all the lanes are booked, even though there are clearly 20+ lanes available, you’ll need a backup plan.”
“And when you tell the manager and his employee, both who are clearly panicking at the influx of brown kids,”
Those examples are clearly stating that phillygrrl and her youth group were denied bowling rights due to the color of the kids skin. As I stated, those comments are irresponsible with no obvious truth to back them up. Im not sure how much you bowl but you are obviously unaware that many leagues take place on Sunday. They should post their league schedule so that people are aware of those practices, and they should also get employees that are competent and are aware of the schedules. But to use that as a racial issue is really grasping at straws. Sorry you don’t agree. Triple bullshit on BC
