Why don’t I know more Indians?
I totally missed the details of Penn Masala’s spring 2009 concert. So bummed.
My fanlove knows no limits. I just canceled the boy’s birthday party. Right. This. Moment. Because Penn Masala has been my true love for a lot longer than any mere (non a cappella-singing) male.
Seriously, I started the first Penn Masala fan club on Facebook. *Pouts. Can’t they just send me my own personal press release at this point. I actually had the intention of starting a similar all-female group at Temple. Can’t do everything.
Hint: If you love Bollywood/Acapella music, you won’t want to miss these guys.
“Tickets to Penn Masala’s spring show, “YouTube: The Search for Penn Masala,” are now available! The show will be held on March 28th at 7pm at Irvine Auditorium, 3401 Spruce Street, Philadelphia, PA. The show will feature new songs from Penn Masala’s upcoming album, “On Detours”. Tickets can be purchased online through the “store” section of our site and will be available on Locust Walk the week of the show.”
Shoot! Now I have to start listening to their CD constantly so I’m prepared to sing along like I have at every concert of theirs for the past four years.
glad you enjoy their music…but if I had to stick to my guns I’d say I think they suck….I guess you and I can’t be friends j/k *heart* (yeah I’m lame and don’t know how to make the actual symbol)
<3.
I know, I know. A lot of people hate Bollywood music. A lot more hate a cappella. I happen to love both.
Penn Masala is AMAZING. Too bad they haven’t come to Canada yet (and probably never will)! Ankhon mein tu hai and Pehchaan are SO good.
I lovee Indian music, and acapella!
