TB takes a swing at the swine flu…
I’m guessing this could be a hoax but I don’t want to be hasty with my assumptions. The last thing I want to do is call something a hoax while there’s some old lady or kid dying in the hospital from it (supposedly the two groups most susceptible to this virus are the elderly and children) . Although something about this seems very fishy. Bush had the bird flu and terrorists. Now Obama has the swine flu and the economy… oh yea, and pirates.
While searching the internet as well as YouTube for answers and theories I came across this video.
It looks like they had this epidemic/scare in the mid 70’s but for some reason it didn’t really catch on. Is this another attempt from the government to scare us into a pen? Could there be something in the vaccine that might alter us in some way (possibly for the worse)?
I did some snooping around on Wikipedia where I came across an antiviral medication called Tamiflu. The creator of Tamiflu is Gilead Sciences and it turns out Donald Rumsfeld (board member since 1988) was the chairman of Gilead Sciences (appointed chairman Jan 1997) before he joined the Bush Administration. When the bird flu (Avian flu) scare flooded the media Gilead Sciences stocks went higher than giraffe testicles. Here is the kicker; for some reason Donald Rumsfeld refused to sell his Gilead Sciences stocks which in turn made him the richest man in the Bush Administration. Hmmmm. That coupled with the billion dollars they lobbied to the military. And from the looks of it they are at it again.
Another name that’s been thrown around is Grover Glenn Norquist. He was the Executive Director of the College Republican National Committee in the 1980′s. He was also responsible for its transformation into a conservative grassroots powerhouse during the Reagan era. This guys neoconservative agenda can be seen through his outstanding resume.
His credentials include:
- Lobbyist for Microsoft
- Consultant for Janus-Merritt Strategies, a lobbying firm
- Member, board of directors, American Conservative Union
- Member, board of directors, National Rifle Association
- Member, Council on Foreign Relations (2001)
This guy has some serious Republican(neo-conservative) ties.

I could delve deeper into this issue but I might come across as paranoid and weird. I just wanted to post something for everyone to think about.
I’m sure you know that a Swine Flu vaccine is in the process of being developed, as we speak. The latest I’ve heard is that something is likely to be available from within a few weeks to a month.
i wonder if its the same vaccine from 1976.
