We were at the Kimmel Center last night for their annual &quot;solstice&quot; thingie. There was a &quot;Bollywood dance lesson&quot; (which was really a Bhangra lesson), where the dance instructors had like 500 non-South Asian people doing bhangra moves in Perelman theater. 

So this might indeed be the summer of Punjabi music.

To your question, we went to a dance night called &quot;Dutty Chutney&quot; at Fluid a few weeks ago, where they played a lot of Bhangra mixed in with Caribbean dance hall. We liked the no-attitude vibe... Worth checking out (once every three weeks on Friday night).]]></description>
