So I was at Philly AIDS Thrift store yesterday and I came across a cute shalwar kameze. I <3 Philly AIDS not only for its low prices, but for the funny comments that can be found on so many of the tags. This one was particularly amusing. It made me wonder, since I know Kareena Kapoor has been in Philadelphia recently filming a new Bollywood film. (Yup, the same film where they didn’t pay anyone in Philadelphia.) Could it have been one that a Philadelphia extra got his or her hands on one of her costumes from set and brought back? Or is it simply a silly reference? But then, maybe there’s someone who works at Philly AIDS that’s a Kareena Kapoor fan. Simply just one of many mysteries that keeps me coming back to the place.

I love Kareena Kapoor! Although I didn’t like it when she was with Shahid Kapoor, who is my fantasy boyfriend. Love seeing there is a Philly-Bollywood connection.

It always depends on what people give. Try the Urban League on Lancaster Avenue in Ardmore. (Ardmore has the best thrift shops.)
