True story: my BFF since junior high @lulubird00 sneaked into the tents at Bryant Park one year and watched all of the fashion shows. Oh if I only had the nerve to do the same thing. Tomorrow kicks off Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City and if you like I have a job and no car, that seems woefully out of reach. Luckily, our friends at the King of Prussia Mall have brought a little bit of New York Fashion Week to Philadelphia with their Fashion’s Night Out.  What are they bringing us in the City of Brotherly Love? Champagne, trunk shows, DJs and custom products. Check it:

It’s big. It’s fun. It’s stylish. It’s a party in every fashion capital around the globe. And here’s the scoop: It’s all happening at King of Prussia. On September 10th, you’re invited to the event of the year; Fashion’s Night Out sponsored by Vogue Magazine. Join us for this worldwide celebration of style when the mall will stay open until 11PM, and where you’ll get a peek at hot fall fashions worn by roving models, taste delicious treats from our fabulous restaurants and live it up at shop till you drop festivities. Here’s a taste of just some of what’s in store. (More to come, of course. Check back here often for updates.) Neiman Marcus will kick off their Beauty Event with on-site spa demos you can do at home and a Tokyo Eyelash Bar, where you can try false eyelashes (from the plain Jane versions to over-the-top sparkle and feather ones). They’ll also unveil five sultry new fragrances available exclusively through their stores. At Lilly Pulitzer, eye the vintage Lilly dresses on display (including the original shift that started it all) and meet the head designers to get the lowdown on inspiration for fall ’09, all while sampling beer, wine and delicious food.

With all this fun, you won’t want to show up solo. Teens can get down at their own party space featuring rockin’ live entertainment.
